I have an upcoming date with disaster...

I have to play a chaos team that has wiped all before it in my next game in a league, and could really use some advice how to hold my own against them.

The league is new but they are wracking up the points whilst my team has only managed a 2-2 and a 1-2 defeat (Sotek is not looking out for my dice I can tell you )

Well you should have at least similar strength teams so he shouldn't be able to pound you to bits - and if he is tackle light your skinks should have a field day.

You should read the thread in General about "Dwarf VS Lizardmen" (I think its called "Lizardmen are unstoppable") In there you will see what kind of a game the chaos will try to play on you. Make sure your Saurus are mobile enough, if he manage to tie up your saurus, you will be in big trouble. I'm sure some Lizzy coaches in here can give you advice on the rest (i mostly coach dwarf and woodelfs)

I would love to help you especially since he almost crippled my welf. But i have no idea how to beat him. Only advice i have is think before you do anything. He is good to exploit your mistakes.

In that case i'm in real trouble, cos my team always makes plenty (it's the players on the field not the coach you know )

I can't beleive you ar losing with Lizards!! But all your skinks in the back! put all the saururs but one on one side and bust through.... and if you roll doubles get hail mary pass

I take it you're having as much luck with your lizzies as you did with your Norse

I have a lot of opinions on the matter, Neil. Like I said, I'll give you all the advice you can handle after the game, for obvious reasons. They'll still help you when we play next (as soon as the game after next!), so it's something of a compromise. =)

And listen to Asmodan, don't make mistakes, because I'm pretty good at exploiting them. I'll be quite honest with you though, in admitting that if an opposing coach does well, and is in good position and manages to not make mistakes or leave openings for a series of turns, that I tend to get impatient and make riskier plays, thus leaving openings myself.

But that's all you get, until we finish. ;)j

P.S. Oh, and of course, the bad news is that I'm obviously already self-aware of that flaw in my game, which means it mjight not help you as much as if I weren't.

I forgot to tell you, that you should hire a jamaican woodoo priest and curse him with bad luck
Because he is one of the most luckiest person i have played against.
(I have not decided yet if it is him or my mate who is luckiest)

Who else have succeed with 5 GFI, picking up the ball, making a long pass accurate, catching it and handing it off in the same turn without rerolls with Chaos?

Well I have a Chaos Team and played the Liazrdmen I even had a big guy minataur but guess what?!?......... I lost The Stategy for this guy and why he won with his Lizardmen?? He kept the Skinks in the back one of his skinks Had hail mary pass so he kept him so far back he could pass anywhere on the board.
The saurus where alll on the front line and punched a hole threw the side to allow to skinks to get through I knocked out one but the othe managed to score and that hail mary pass kicked my butt! He did you on skink a a sacrafice in front of my Minataur(big guy) I thought this was dumb but it was used to block him and I had to stike first anyway the Lizardmen are undefeated in our league and for good reason!........... They are broken

I take it you haven't worked out a way to defeat lizzies yet then.

I don't think their broken, I've not heard that here. They just seem to be a team which is either played well, or is played badly.

And the Hail Mary pass, he was scattering 3 squares every time, right?
