My first every legend - what to get as final skill?
So rolled a normal skill, shame as was hoping for dodge.
Anyway beastman with +1AG, +1ST, Block, Sure Hands, Pro
What to get for final skill roll? Fenzy? Guard? Tackle? Fend to survive the pile on'ers? Mighty blow? Stand firm? Foul appearance to be annoying? Two heads for mobility?
Anything, really, what do you all think? I'll be trying to not score with him to try and skill up the new replacement players instead. So fighting skills? Frenzy would be fun, not got any of that yet. Tackle as I lack that as well!

Frenzy would turn him into a blitzing terror...

I had a similar monster once, a Pestigor with: +ST, +AG, Dodge, Block, S-Hands. Sadly the league ended before he got to his 6th skill, but I was planning to give him Tackle. Even without Tackle, he was already a key player on defense, but I often felt the lack of it.

Tackle for defence, especially so if you don't have it on anyone else. Tackle is awesome on +AG beastmen. He's already a superb ball carrier so Two Heads would be a bit overkill.
You should be blitzing with your killers normally so you only want to blitz with this beastman when you get to hit a ball carrier with Dodge or when everyone else is tied up.

Currently this chap is a ball carrier - retrieving, running etc. He may still do that but would look to be getting rid of it so someone else could score.
I can see why tackle, and the lack of it is a problem. But I am playing in a TV matched environment so steadily leaving the dodging teams behind and moving into the CPOMB killers territory (I really need to develop a couple...) which I have only avoided thus far by not getting a minotaur. Is tackle of more utility than diving tackle? He isn't the blitzer.
Maybe considering the future opposition I should go for fend to try and keep him alive and avoid the pile on damage? Bit of a damp squib for the final skill really.

I would seriously consider Guard. It is great for peeling and that looks like your ball carrier. But that depends on your playstyle quite a bit. Could be you don't need it.
Another choice, maybe a bit more odd-ball but certainly giving you some great options, would be Leap.
Fend is not bad either, as stated above.

You can't get Diving Tackle then either since it's a normal skill. In my mind Tackle would be for blitzing purposes when your game plan calls for taking down a blodger, usually by blitzing. The higher you go in TV, the more likely it gets that your opponent will have a blodging ball carrier. Bashing teams especially will strive to have one.

Good point.
Went for tackle. First game with legend? Turn one dodged through enemy lines, blitzed ball carrier with rr, got ball and on the go for it to get to safety fell and badly hurt himself.
Inspired.
(The game itself, 0-1 loss, 2 dead, 2 permanent injures, curse you CPOMB.)
