Necro Running Ghoul

Entering the sixth season of my league, I have a small decision to make as to who to use as my primary running ghoul.
GH: +AG, Wrestle, Tackle
GH: +ST
If I had gotten the +AG before taking wrestle this would be an easy choice, but oh well. Opponents don't usually get many hits on my running ghoul...but wrestle is a liability. So I tend to favor trying to focus on the +ST ghoul - taking block then SS (presuming no +ag).
On offense I usually run with the ghouls. The WWs are blitzers and the wights are my mobile guard players.

Wight: +AG, MB, Guard, Tackle, SF
WW: Block, Dodge, MB, PO, SS, JU

Z: Wrestle, Fend

Z: Wrestle

The +ST one. Simply because he has more skill ups coming quicker. you can give him block and sure hands probably before the other ghoul gets his 4th skill.

1/7 rolls is an Ag +
~1/4 rolls is a double
Ghouls are almost meaningless on this team... LOL!
I guess I'd go with Burgun on this one, though the ghouls look like blitzers in the making (or at least ball recoverers after the others crack it loose)... or even catchers! That 5 Ag abomination should be passing all over elfdom.... !O-O!
Not asked, but my Necro heart cringes at Wrestle on Zombies and DP before Kick... as well as all the surplus undead flesh....

Interestingly the players who weren't getting stat ups and doubles died - like the Block, SS, SH, Fend, Kick Ghoul who was the league leading rusher.
I'm not a big fan of passing when I can avoid it. And necro are in no rush to score anyway.
Wrestle makes a zombie much better at typing up better players, so it is a better choice for players that are unlikely to get more then one skill anyway...and how could you go without a DP Zombie? I've had one win games for me in the past by themselves.
As for the number of rookie zombies, I've faced a lot of super killer teams so having extra zombies comes in handy. In 10 games in my division I game in third with 27.

I echo the others in choosing the +ST Ghoul to carry the ball. I'd be blitzing/cracking cages with the +AG Wrackle Ghoul. Give him Leap, then Strip Ball next!
Also, can you roll all my skill rolls from now on? Thanks.

On these team wouldn't it be better to have a Wight be the ball carrier, than the Ghoul (at least in the short term)? AV8, Regen, Blodge, and AG+ makes them better to defend the ball.
Depending on the opposition, I would also be tempted to run up the score with this team. I think it has the skill it needs to do that. (so no 2-1 grind).
The Ghoul could still be the piece scoring at the end.

that ag5 abomination needs strong arm, if nothing else it'll be totally lolworthy plus it gives you an easy 2+ long pass which makes those last ditch pass to an empty square for safety a lot easier

I echo the sentiment of use the ST+ ghoul.
The wights are also an option.

Heh, my team has taken some major hits since I last posted the roster.
Every CAS is an SI/Dead it seems.
The +ST Ghoul died. To be replaced by a Guard ghoul who died. Neither ever got a BH or MNG mind you.
The +2AG wight got -AG.
The +AG ghoul got -MV.
It has been frustrating to say the least. And note I haven't played any uberkiller teams. The CAS rolls have just been absurd this season.
I am still in the playoff hunt though, so I will keep the two SI'd players. If I fall out of it, I will probably drop them.
