Chaos v Chaos - lots of inducements!

My team:

No level-ups so 1690TV it is.

Opponent team:

4 and 7 are yet to select skills. Assuming normal rolls he'll be at 2350TV.

That gives me at least 660k in inducements. This is Cyanide so star players are limited to Morg, Grashnak and Borak. Currently I'm thinking:
Wizard (150)
Borak (300)
Bribe (100)
Apoth (100)
Totalling 650.

I think DP on Borak combined with a bribe can make a difference if I can get a player or two down, and might put him off using his CPOMBer too much, as well as being a nice reliable ST boost, which I think I need this game. I'm torn between a second bribe and an Apo really: the Apo might make a difference if one of my better (as opposed to fodder) players goes down. My team is still developing and I'm only in the 4th tier, so while a win will secure me second spot in the division, with a possibility of first, I get promoted even in 3rd place and would like to go up with an uninjured team.

Am I along the right lines, or completely off track here?

He doesn't have much SF and he does have a lot of dodge - might Grashnak help in keeping him away from the sidelines?

Then again, if your primary concern is survival vs winning, letting him work his way up the sideline might not be a bad idea as opposed to forcing him to go up the middle anyway.

No, I want to win. That's absolutely my priority here. I just have an eye on the future, is all.

Grashnak might be nice. I suppose it's a trade-off between DP and frenzy. The ST advantage is cancelled by the Borak having block, imo.

Agreed, though getting 3D against a player with blodge...twice...could help take down some of those annoying guys.

And your opponent having frenzy vs not having frenzy is a big difference in how you position...

I'm not massively concerned about the blodgers - my TPOMBer and the other tackler will be of much use here, and I tend to use the TPOMBer as a sweeper anyway. Your point about having vs not having frenzy is very pertinent though.

Not to underestimate him, but my opponent's team has a 35-12-47 record compared to my team's 11-3-2 record. While I will be as cautious as ever, I am not expecting to get massively outplayed. That said, I played the majority of my previous games with a mino, so...

Well he rolled +AG and a double on the two to level, so the difference ended up being 690TV. I took wizard, Morg and apo and ended up winning 1-0. Morg was immense, and the only downside was that my TPOMBer took a niggle. That's a real pain given I have rats next week and now only one tackler.
