Slann vs Dark Elf Inducements

My Slann team has finally come through with a good season and has now made it to the semi finals of our local league.

The best player on my team was injured in my quarter finals victory over a tough nurgle team, so I will have a pretty low team value for my next match meaning that I have a lot of inducements coming my way.

This is my team:

and this is the DE team I will be facing:

Right now there is a 460,000 TV difference and I am playing to purchase a player before the match. I would prefer to purchase the 4th catcher here, but it leads to a much more difficult inducement total. If I bring on a lineman I would have 400,000 of inducements while if I bring on a catcher I would have 380,000. My opponent has quite a fair bit for block/dodge while I have a decent amount of wrrestle I do have only one tackler alive at this point. I was considering purchasing the catcher, inducing a wizard and two lineman (maybe one with dirty player?) and planning to foul him to remove some of that block dodge maybe.

Our league allows pretty much all inducements including special play cards, but we do not allow star players in the play offs.

He has made some weird skill choices, pass block on his star ST4 blitzer!?!? Well I'd definately try to target his runner, the dump-off and sure hands is a pain for you.

Without stars, I don't think inducements are that great. Sure a wiz is a given and you might also get some fun out of fouling, but it's really random.

I haven't played slann myself, but isn't a unskilled catcher rather useless, I think I rather would have a meatshield linefrog.

I kinda felt like I would like to have the additional AG 4 player for offense. She would be just as effective at picking up the ball for a throw/handoff. Dont think I would put in the rookie on defense unless things got dire.

I am more leaning toward a dirty trick card than the skill on one of the mercs now.

If I buy the linefrog instead it would put me at 12 players with 400k of inducements, as you said a wizard is a given so that would leave 250. I dont really feel safe at 12 players so I would probably need to take something like a merc lineman, an additional apoth or two babes. I am guessing that if I went with purchasing the lineman that I would probably take a 100k card first and make my other decisions from there.
