Mid-Season Reset

Ok so I'm doing a reset of my team very soon. I can start over with any race at TV 1000 mid league (it will hurt my playoff contention but that isn't important) My question for advice is what team do you all suggest I play?

Here are my opponents

Undead
Norse
Chaos Pact (with a ST6 Mino and claw Ogre)
Chaos (2 claw most with block)
Skaven (with every skill known to man)
Dwarf (stock)
Goblin (they are not good)

I was playing dwarf but they are starting to bore me and since we can use teams that were started next season I want to give the dwarves a break and give someone else a head start. I am reigning league champion who played a Dark Elf team.

I'm considering these teams:

High Elf
Necromantic
Ogre
Chaos Dwarf
Other

High Elf I think could be interesting because I would start full team 1 reroll to maximize on potential of players and team play. Necro I played for years during the crazy catch claws frenzy days of werewolves, and Ogres look fun. Chaos Dwarves are fast but also dangerous on the pitch. With such a bash murder list of teams to play what is a safe bet to try and steal a lot of SPP and get a team rocking going into next league?

Not Ogres, they are not fun in a league and developed bash teams will kill your snots and then peel your ogres out of their armour and kill them too. You have 3 teams with claw there.
Try undead.

High Elf with all positional and just one RR is a dangerous proposition.
They need 2 rerolls, at least (no dodge in the whole team), and starting Catchers are really vulnerable, especially for developed teams that got lots of block.
Linemen are unglamorous, but fairly sturdy.

Normally high av st teams are great but against these guys is scary, I know catchers are fragile but who cares about av against claws? I'm nervous about any team I bring in that why I seek advice...

Honestly, with those teams to choose from, I'd go with Chaos. If most have Block already, use the rest of the season's games to develop a couple of players (Sure Hands/Extra Arms Beastman, Guard on a few, etc.) and get them ready for next season. With 8/9 AV, they should survive decently until then.

This is why I said undead. AV9 + REGEN

Oh, my fault for reading it wrong. That's what I get for reading it on a phone at work. :P I thought the top teams were ones you had available, but they're your coming opponents.

Therefore, assuming you are starting the team from scratch, I'd go with Elves of some type -- any type. You can start with all the positionals, zero rerolls, and an apothecary. Then, use inducements to grab another apoth or two (to keep players alive while you are skilling for next season), some rerolls, and dash it with a bit of something else you like (if you have more inducement money left over). High Elves play quite differently to Dark Elves (well, not completely, but enough to be noticeable), and since you've played Dark Elves before, you'd probably end up doing well next season with them.

Ach, mid season resets are lame. Keep with the dwarves, they're meant to be a second season team anyway. And two elf teams will get promoted next season, so wouldn't you want to have dwarves anyway? :-)

1) Don't reset until you've given a team long enough to peak out, and one more season (minimum) after that. Have fun with Boomer for the rest of the season, then get competitive next season or the one after.

2) If you must reset, play Undead.
