Hi all,

I've been running an orcs team for a few seasons and I'd like some help.

I had 2 players get skills in my last a game a 2-1 loss to dwarves(I now know why some people hate them), my goblin who is skilless rolled double 6's do I go block on him or give him the +ST?

And a blitzer with guard, Mighty blow and tackle rolled an 8(6-2) what should I give him?

And here is my roster so you can see what I'm working with.

Block or +ST on the Goblin, can't go wrong. +ST if the TV doesn't matter, either if it does.

Piling On for the Blitzer.

Can't help your orcs with the strat, though. Keep on strummin'.

Cheers for the advice on what skills, I hadn't even considered piling on for the blitzer so hopefully it pays off in the next game

Much as I love goblins, a Str 3 one is a waste of tv. You could have a black orc/blitzer for less, or 2 lineorcs for 10tv more.

Depends what you use the goblin for really? I'd personally go for Wrestle over Block, and Dirty Player if you are fouling with him.
But really anything other than +Agility would likely mean being sacked on an Orc team?

S3 Goblin is a cage threat; mark up the corners, Goblin dodges in on a 3+ for a 1 dice Blitz. Unless your opponent puts Guard on all 3 of the 4 corners that is a constant threat they have to worry about.

As for the Blitzer, maybe Strip Ball? More chances to get the ball loose.

Id take the +St on the gobbo.

it helps protect him, get you a 1 die in the cage on a 3+ blitz (if no guard ECT....)

and his next skill could be another double for Block or tackle....or even Strip Ball ( God, how Id love a St3 strip ball gobbo!!)

Blitzer?? Sack him and buy another Gobbo....

Off topic slightly, but think you can get away with two guard on opposite corners of a cage.

If we're after a cage breaking goblin, I'd go for Wrestle instead. A cage *will* have at least 1 guard in your way, especially at this tv of 2000+

Also even if the Str 3 goblin does bring the ball carrier down, it's likely backwards into safety, and you've just gifted a 90tv goblin to the opponent :p

At least with Wrestle the goblin has a chance of surviving (and making the 1/2d block)
