I'd give him +MA. You can always get block later. Not having to 4+ to get him up is great (if he's not rooted that is)

Is that what happens to a Tree on the Ogre team? Or did he just have a bad cold?babass wrote:Pedda wrote:snot rooted

Thanks guys, I did go for the +MA in the end as it combines better with Break Tackle which he already has and the extra MA is always useful, whereas Jump Up is only useful if he gets knocked down. Fingers crossed for another double and block!

On my last wood elf team I was faced with the same situation and I took Block. It was magical. Then I got lucky again and rolled a 4-6 so I gave him the movement. But that was just plain lucky rolling.

On a Woody team I'd do the same, his only job is to give/take hits on the LOS, anything after that is a bonus. On a 'fling team the trees should be doing more of the blitzing (trying to get 2ds with 'flings can be very hard!) which the MA3 and BT will help with.
You could almost argue that after the LOS blocks, the tree is the worst player on a Woody team, on a 'fling team he will still most likely (barring star players or a stat freak) be the best!

Excellent points. And I actually didn't buy him until about 2/3 through the first season (of 2) with the team.Aliboon wrote:On a Woody team I'd do the same, his only job is to give/take hits on the LOS, anything after that is a bonus.
