For the first drive of my HE's game against DE's I've only got 6 players. I'm receiving.
Any ideas on what I should do?
Do I try to score, or turn the ball over for him to score quickly, or what.
My teams pretty basic at the moment, in fact the 6 players who've showed up are all Linemen with no skills.
Help!!

What, 3 at the start of the game, or a drive?

Pick up the ball and run as fast as u can, feel the elvishness, be the elvishness.

There again, haven't heard back from opponent yet. Hope we didn't upset him by not allowing him to use his original (10 player, lots of positional) roster

Remember, this is my HE team that always fails 2+ pick ups

That's nothing Deathwing. I've seen teams without a single player to field numerous times. But starting a game with 6 is something else. I've only seen that once with an old wood elf team of mine. Played an orc team with 7 recently also.
Darkson, what do you mean you didn't allow him to use his normal roster?

Playing in Tchatter's LRB Challenge PBeM league, which follows the LRB rules. Guy was a new coach and challenged me to play his DE, which I accepted. When I opened the game file I couldn't work out how he'd managed to get so many positional players in a starting elf team, then I realised he'd only brougt 10 players, which is a no-no as far as the rules are concerned.
Emailed him and Tim back. He got a bit tecthy, but agreed to change his roster. New game file came back. 1 Handicap roll - "running late" - roll D6 - 6 players miss 1st drive from a 12 man roster, including all the players with skills
Personally, I don't have a problem with a 10 man roster, but the league rules state very clearly this league follows to the LRB as closely as PBeM allows, which is one of the reasons Tim's banned rosters from the journal.

Should of said, when I said new coach, I meant new to the league, not new to BB.

Since you will get your players back as soon as the drive is over, i would say try to score as fast as you can

Ha! You've played me. You know I find it difficult to score when I have 11 players on the pitch, let alone only 6!

Recently saw a HE team get beat up badly by a group of goblins who knew they couldn't win. They entered their next game against a full Lizardman team with 7 starting players, one of which got ejected for fouling on turn 2. Despite this, the Elves forced overtime - but lost.
'Cause he's an Elf -
(Yeah yeah yeah!)

Managed to hold out for the entire 1st half (which I'm not sure was the right thing to do

).
Funniest thing was on his last turn of the half his ball carrier ran towards the EZ and went for the easy pass back for SPP, which was sucessfully caught. Then in the log he left this message -
"Hold on, it's my last turn????
*^%%& ^$%^!" (or something along those lines)
Needless to say, the new ball carrier was 1 square short of the EZ after 2 GFI's
