DE Skills again...

Hi there...
Its always the same. I m planning to give this or that player this or that skill and then they roll a double or get a stat down by ageing or something.
In this case my DE Blitzer with block, dodge, dauntless rolled a double again and i m not sure which skill or trait would be a good choice. Any tips here?
Thanks in advance.

for a few ideas, or there's always Mighy Blow or Guard.
To give specfic advice about your player though, we'd really need to see the rest of your team.

mightyblow if you're a true dark elf and like the other team to feel some pain.
guard isn't really a good skill for a blitzer, mostly they're the hitter and not the helper.

I'd give him frenzy right away! Works nicely with dauntless.

Go for M. Blow as you cannot usually get ST skill access. My no#2 bliter got M. Blow and a few games later was the no#1 blitzer, both in SPPs from Cas and also fear in the opponents. It works alot better with tackle as you then a player who can match opposing scorers for speed and agilty and also take then down (tackle) and out (m. blow).

Jump Up is also an idea - very useful on Blocking types and annoying for your opponent.

Sidestep and block on a few linemen makes a very annoying LOS. I'd personally try to get some SPPs on #s 4, 5, and 6 for this. Dodge is marginally less important for them if your league has a lot of tacklers (like mine

). It's also great for your WEs to make sure they don't get bumped off the sideline after sending someone that way.
For doubles on the blitzer, I'd be tempted to say NoS if you use him as a receiver (although the dauntless may make him more likely to be used to blitz someone free than be a receiver himself). Frenzy is always fun, as I'm sure you know from your WEs.
Mighty Blow is a great skill to add to him as well, though, so I wouldn't discount it.
Nice roster, by the way.

nah frenzy is lame now...just 1 extra hit for a trait isn't worth it. if he has witch elves he already has enough frenzy.

Westley: I'm inclined to agree. Currently the big advantage of frenzy is keeping a lane open on the sidelines on offence. I wouldn't give it to more than one player on a team now, since there are better things to do with doubles. Guard is very good.

You know the old saying about a stopped clock...
I'm tempted to recommend a second Dauntless player. You need it to win against the strength teams, and one player with a needed skill is a target. Two are a threat.

Yep,
mhh Frenzy. Nope i think two times Frenzy on my witches (one with dauntless too) is enough to force the sidelines open;-)
I think i ll choose between Mighty Blow and Jump Up. Jump Up is a really annoying skill for every opponent so i know from my witches.
But i m leaning towards Mighty Blow. Because this blitzer already has dauntless it seems to be the better choice for me. Cause almost using him against those ST 4 and the Big Guys with AV 9 most of the time he ll get a better chance to get them down and out. And for those damn little rats and woodies with AV 7 Mighty Blow always comes in handy too....
Mhh lets hope that this is a good choice.
