Amazons with to much money

Have any of you ever played a high TR amazon team, and had a problem with to much money. I seem to be able to hire a wizard every game, I currently have 4 cheerleaders, and 3 assinant coaches, and 8 rerolls. I am the Reroll king (erm, queen whatever) and I have nothing to do with my money horde. With every other team your busy buying those expensive position players or hard to get rerolls.
I was looking at simaliar teams and the norse are pretty close, but with block. The Norse: die about as often as the amazons (probable more because of lack of blodge lineman), have the same mundane 6337 stats, have 4 blitzers... Wait they get 4 blitzer (I mean 4 niftey block, frenzy, jump up, inevitable piling on blitzers, while amazons only get free blodge) and a Big Guy. Was a ruling passed to add 2 more position players to a team if they don't get a Big Guy. Where the Amazons left out or what? I think the Amazon catchers need a good revampe. Maybe 6337 Dodge, Catch, Nerves of Steel, Side Step 100K. It seems like a lot of skills but they are lesser used and cheaper skills. And why does the passer cost 70K for an agility 3 player with no sure hands, maybe 80k and pass, surehands would be better. I also wouldn't be agenst Higher costing Rerolls.
I would like to see changes in the Amazon team to give them more personality and flare, and to give them something to spend the extra cash on. Unless I am an amazing amazon coach the extra cash problem should be common.

The amazons are perfectly fine as they are. Sure, their blitzers are not as good as the norse equivalent, and they don't get a big guy, but cheap rerolls (20k cheaper than norse's) and dodge on everyone is a big advantage. Personally, i consider amazons a better team overall.
The only change i might make is to add a star player for them, but that will change come next October, i'm pretty confident about it.
Yes the money is in excess (my amazons are the same), but that's what you can expect from such a cheap team. My chaos dwarves have the same "problem".

You know something we don't? What kind of SP are you thinking of, I doubt you mean the return of the unicorn (which was universally hated)?

Hey, in my former league (which I've quitted now due to the nuts league commissioner who repeatedly explained to me, that Lizards were utterly broken under LRB and Norse / Amazons extremely bad) Unicorns could be ridden. My opponent made some kind of 15 MA movement (among them a 2-field sprint of the Unicorn and a 3 field-sprint of the amazon which carried the ball).
I think, he universally loved his unicorn.

I really hope that we'll never see the unicorn again. However, after all the complaints, i doubt that they'll leave one race without a star player. They'll probably just make up a new amazon blitzer star player or something, and write some fluff for her.

Or maybe they reveal the dark secret of Griff Oberwald: he fancies to dress up as a woman and play in Amazon teams!
Imagine the Griff figure with womens clothing, false breasts and excess make-up...

Probably wouldn't be too hard to convert with a little greenstuff.

i think you've done well to be in a position with any team where you have too much money, especially with a team at AV 7. I know they all start with dodge but as time goes on and your opposition gets more player with tackle don't you find it more difficult? i do with an elf team and i get the advantage of AG 4. Oh well good luck to you, too much money isn't really a big problem so i wouldn't get to worried

Elves are expensive. Amazons are extremely cheap (i can't think of a cheaper team other than goblins and halflings).

I hope the amazon star player looks more like the new Mordheim amazons than like the BB amazons!

My team has grown so profitable it is now almost a loan shark. I borrow money out to teams who need some rebound money (of course with intrest). If they don't pay up I take them out the next time i see them, or I pay someone to hit'em hard. I find it odd that any Blood Bowl team could amass such a huge sum of money like I have (1,320K). The only other time I got even close was with a dwarf team, but I also didn't take the option of Ogre.
So none of you think haveing a team with to cheat of players, and rerolls is a problem. I wouldn't mind a little revamp on the team to add balance to them.
As a side note I would like to mention that Amazon teams when at higher TR's can get brutal and hit just as well ass other str teams. I hardly ever use dodge unless to not fall down from a tackle-less block. I prefer to let them push me around (most my team has stand firm, or side step so I choose) and block them next turn with plenty of guards.
I'm still amazed no one else has had a super dominent Amazon team.
