Need help with a Goblin Team

Hello, I'm pretty new to Blood Bowl and will soon be entering a league of about 24 teams, with no Star players allowed. After, some serious thought on the subject I put together the following team:
12 goblins: 480,000
2 trolls: 200,000
3 re-rolls: 180,000
1 Apothecary 50,000
9 Fan Factor 90,000
I pick armies/teams based on how much I like the figures(winning is a distant afterthought) so I'm deadset on Goblins. So basically I'm hoping that some of you could help me with what skills I should get and what I should spend the money I get from playing games on? Actually seeing as how I'm pretty new any help at all would be welcome. Either way, Thanks in advance!

Well what you want to use your money for is easy, buy new goblins and then buy some more
I usually give my gobbos either Side Step, catch, Surefeet and Sprint and on doubles Block.

I agree with Asmodan there on the basics. Also consider taking diving tackle on a couple of goblins. Put them on your opponent's runners when defending.
Also make sure you always have a gobbo to support your Trolls, so that they make their Really Stupid checks on 2+ and not 4+.
Good luck.

and save your apoth for the Trolls...
You can pick up a gobbo easily and start them on their way to spp's, restarting a troll (grab the jump leads!), is a much trickier prospect...
Gk.

You've made a good choice in picking Goblins, Hobbla. They may not have much success on the pitch, but they are always a good laugh! Let me give you some general advice gleaned from coaching a poor, often splatted Goblin team of my own...
Goblins: The juvenile delinquants of the Blood Bowl pitch! These guys are slightly more endurable than people may think. Dodge helps either when you're getting blocked or trying to escape from the opposing players. Unfortunately, when they go down, the combination of AV7 and +1 to the injury roll means that you may very well stay down for a while. Don't be afraid to dodge through a mass of opposing Players, as Dodge and Stunty are a very good combination.
Trolls: Big, dumb and strong! These are the guys to put on the front line! If they hit something, chances are that they are going to go down fast! Unfortunately, being Really Stupid can put a crimp on your plans. Always try to have a Goblin next to each Troll to help with the Really Stupid tests, but always be prepared for a failure as I've found that they happen at the worst moments. A fun thing to try is throwing a Goblin, with and without the ball. It can worry your opponent, and make his ease off the pressure on your front line. Just be careful about opposing Tackle zones on your Throwing Troll, and get ready to laugh if he tries to bite the poor Goblin's head off!
Skills and Money: You will always find yourself a bit short on both, mostly. Goblins can collect SPPs pretty fast, but they usually don't live too long to enjoy them, which means you will be spending money to replace them. Asmodan has said pretty much what I would have said, so I won't say any more...
General Tactics: Try to keep your Goblins out of trouble by ensuring that the only way they can be hurt is by a Blitz. Keep a fluid line centered on your Trolls. Slip and/or throw a couple of Goblins into your opponents half of the pitch to throw him off balance. When you have the chance, foul as hard as you can! And finally, have
FUN!
Just remember that this is just what I have learnt. There are many ways to play each team, so practice and find what's right for you...

Well I do grant that Trolls can be lots of fun on the Goblin's side, Ogres
give a few more options, such as TTM having a greater chance. But hey,
having Reg. isn't that bad a trade off!
I find I start focusing on position players with some of the Doubles and
Skill upgrades. An Ag +1 and a SureHands Gob to get the ball save on
Rerolls, and that AG +1 gob can even start a passing game, I didn't say
Well, but hey at least you can have the humour of one! And watch that
guy Dodge! AG 4 Goblins with their Stunty scare teams.
