I'd go for the second Witch Elf...

And Leap on the AG5 Blitzer isn't a bad idea at all...he'd be a very effective pain in the butt for the other team.

I'd suggest getting a reroll first, after that a second witch.

Replace the niggling blitzer with less SPPs, as soon as you can afterwards. Then get another reroll or two and replace the -AG lineman. Finally you should get rid of that last niggling blitzer (unless you really want him in your team).

Second witch. The only player that needs to be replaced imo is the -ag lineman.

If it was my team, I would replace both blitzers (or any niggle/stat decrease) when given enough time and money. I agree, there is no immediate need for them to be replaced right away, as a niggle isn't crippling or so. But over time it may count in and as he:
a) has 15 players already (16, after getting the witch) and
b) both blitzers have only standard increases (no doubles/stat increases)
what will he lose?

I mean, he'll drop his TR by a reasonable amount with each blitzer he replaces, can get the same (or better) increases with the new guys and doesn't hurt his team very much. He has two decent blitzers besides the nigglers, plus two witch elves. So, replacing them one after the other won't hurt!

The only thing to think about is the timing. He might want to buy a few RR first, before retiring players. But after that, why not replace them?

My purchasing would be
Witch
Reroll
Blitzer - replacement for lowest spp niggle
Reroll
Blitzer - another replacement for niggle

As a novice in DE's, why doesn't anyone recommend a 2nd thrower? I know all elves are good at throwing, but saving a TRR on a pass when the Curse hits you seems a good idea IMO.

Throwers for delfs are considered extras rather than necessary. This is due to the expense of a thrower versus the expense of a lineman.

Other elf teams have problems with Catchers and throwers sucking up a lot of SPP's.

Dark elves don't have catchers and by getting throwers late you can get a really even spread of spp's on your team.

On Dark elf teams, as far as spps go, Blitzers can hold thier own, Witch elves start with so many good skills that once they get block they are effective, and once they get sidestep they are outright dangerous. Line elves take time and devotion, but the pay off is huge. Once you get two or three skills on the Witches and Blitzers I try to have my linelves earn every SPP that I get. Witches and Blitzers always seem to find the ball.

My suggestion for the Original poster is nearly the same as Sean's. I would go:
Witch
Reroll
Blitzer - replacement for Highest spp niggle
Blitzer - Another replacement for niggle
Reroll

Often that depends on my mood though. If I just had one of my blitzers niggle his way out of a game I would probably bump replacing him up, perhaps before the witch. I hate niggles. Also put that -AV linelf in the middle of your LOS everytime. I have an AV6 one that has survived 26 games. He is BH'd or KO'd every game, but he always takes that first big guy hit.

you do EVENTUALLY want to get a 2nd thrower, but not until you have all your blitzers and witch elves, as they are more important.

Maybe it's because every time I ran an elf team the lino's would always fail the 2+ quick pass the turn after I used my last re-roll  :pissed:

That's way I say...
