How to win with humans?

Post by SkizO! »

Well the title was quite explicit. I have a human team, that I can customize in every way allowed and i still can't win. If you have anything, roosters, tactics, tricky plays, ways to use players whatever, tell me and i'll giv it a try. It can't really be worst.

Thank you for your consideration.

The tactic you have to play with a human team depends on the playing style you like.. A human team is able to play the grinding game, the passing game and the running game.

If you play agility teams then try the bashing. If you play bashing team try the opposing tactic. The fact is that you have to play to your strength.

What starting teamroster did you choose and what teams play in your league?

my starting Cockerel was composed of :

6 Linemen
2 Throwers
2 Catchers
2 Blitzers

After a couple of loss, I added Mighty Zug and an Apotechary

That was mostly it.

What version of the rules are you playing?

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Are you sure it is 4th ed? Don't confuse it wih the Living Rulebook. They're different things.

think you will find most people on here play LRB edition with limits like one skill per action in 4th edition the tactics are wildly different so you will find it hard to get any proper advice playing with vastly different rules
