I'm a novice looking to start with an undead team - can anyone give me any pointers as to a good starting line-up? I've just been absolutely hammered by orcs as the woodelves!

Cheers :puke: :pissed:  :o

as the woodelves = while YOU were playing woodelves?

If this is what you mean, you cannot really compare playing undead and wood elves. The tactics are pretty different...

Also, what kind of league are you in? Are there many players coaching brutal teams (i.e. orcs, dwarves, chaos, other undead...) or agile ones? How many matches is your season going to last roughly? Will you be allowed to carry over the same team over the next season?... This has an influence on the ideal starting line-up anybody's team should have.

You also entitled this thread "New Undead TeamS" -
do you also want advice as to WHICH undead team to pick?
- i.e. vampires, khemri, necromantic?...
This is even more important in view of the fact that the old undead team is highly likely to be dropped by Fanatic Games (the branch of Games Workshop managing BB) in the forthcoming 2 months...

Please give us more info so that we can help you!

Played as woodelves vs orcs in 10 match series and got pasted. I started with the wrong line-up and never recovered. Next up, I think we're going for undead (new necromantic) vs skaven over a similiar series with an orc and wood elf team, too.

Hmm. Not sure I like the idea of a 10 game series against the same team over and over. You could pick some skills and teams that would really tear up the opposition. Amazons would do well against non-dwarves, for instance.
