Start a wood elf team, i mean amazons high elves orc, chaos, all infe and good, i even can do a decent goblinb team,
but how do you get a good starting WE team and whats the best tactics specially when your GOING to face hitty teams from the get go

I always start with
1wardancer
10lineelf
2 rerolls
8FF (i think)
Thats about all you can aford

tactic?
dodge away.
try to leave them only the one blitz.
and travel in packs.
that's all i can suggest...

use the WD for what he's good at
use your speed
ALLWAYS put ne Welf in a scoring position so you can max out turn overs your opponent suffers. ALLWAYS! I have seen many, many 2 sure hands 2 results
