Hi there, one of my little linewomen got her first skill last night, and it was a double 6 !

Now what i was thinking was, second skill block = St4 blitzer, but that seems a little vanilla...

I am looking for some insperation for skill developement for her that will be a bit different (home grown Zara? :)

My current team has 2 blitzers with guard, one blitzer with stripe ball and another line woman with dirty player (only 4 games in :)

Any ideas / comments will be most welcome.

Thanks guys!

Definitely keep the Strenght 4!!!
Amazons are really average, so characteristic increases are really gifts for the long term.

I can't think of any scenerio off the top of my head where I would not take the STR.

Ohh i am keeping the ST, but i am just looking for good future skill devopements for her.

Should i make her a St4 blitzer, mould her into a back field safty??

Just looking for ideas really :)

Block is good for everyone of your girls. Not only your blitzers. If you roll a double next think about frenzy, or even pilling on. Guard would be nice either on a str4.

I think the best option for the future will be to develop her as a blitzer: block, tackle, frenzy...
Anyway, you only have access to general skills with her, so you don't really have the choice.

Sure Hands. Catch on a Double. Make her a kick arse ball carrier. Alternatively give her frenzy on doubles and make her your primary "Blitz"er. Tackle and Strip ball would go well with that combo.

ST 4, Blodge would rock though.

I'd take Block next, Av7 is a little porous for my taste, so anything that makes her harder to bring down is a good thing.

3rd normal skill is either Sure Hands (to develop her as a runner) or Tackle (to develop as a Blitzer).

Doubles would be Frenzy (always nice on S4, especially with MA6) or Nerves of Steel (better for runner).

I would not risk a AV 7 St 4 to fall on the ground on a regular basis. Take frenzy if you roll a double and not Pilling on!

You lucky Bugger!!!

+1 Str...
Why, Whhhhy, Why god, WHY can't I get double 6's...hehheeeeee...
or an 11!

Block on that Linewoman is a must, she will shine brighter than any of your Blitzers!!!
Make her a Running game/ Ball Carrier, perfect!
Every come across a Dwarven Ball Runner at Str 4... Exactly my point!

With the Amazon I always take the increase of characteristic.

ST and AG are both good increase and MV is good too because all team have the same value, a little difference don't hurt, eh?

Play with head before the hands and you will a nasty defender team, I have taken only 3 TD in 9 match.

1 with a filed invasion that put on KO' 3 on my player all in 1 side line

1 with a throw-in when I was with all team in 3 square of the opposite TD

1 with a great action by Griff in final (then I've won 2-1)

BB King :D

I agree, but would not take Catch for this unless you have few rerolls and a poor thrower. Useful, but only a sub for a reroll, where Sure Hands after Blockwould make her Blodge, STR4 and immune to Strip ball. Add in the fact that she will very often get 2-dice on ballcarrier, having SH won't hurt there either.

Doubles, I might be tempted by Jump Up but there are a lot of choices.

Yes, I'd go with block / tackle route straight away. On doubles, probably frenzy. Ball handling with the Zons is probably best left to the throwers and catchers, and if you ever need her to carry the spiky, that's what you've got cheap rerolls for.

Of course, she'll probably roll an 11 on her next skill - can I petition you rename her "Vampirella" if that happens?

Completely agree here, block tackle frenzy (surehands when not throwing doubles)

I'd not give her Sure Hands to help pick up the ball (although it could be useful) but to protect against Strip Ball.
