So I've tried starting a number of Old World Teams on Fumbbl, and met with no success with any of them;
http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team& ... m_id=37328
1 win, 1 tie
took a death (ogre) and 2 SI in my second game leading me to retire the team...
http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team& ... m_id=39395
1 loss
RIP in my first game and a loss this time
and worst yet;
http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team& ... m_id=40552
1 loss (concede)
I had taken a RIP and an SI in the first three turns to...gobbos...

I generally line the Dwarves up the middle and try to break through to one side - caging if I can't get a complete break through with the Human Th or the Wood Elves as ball handlers.
On D I use the 3 LOS 1 Wing - Looks rather like a big letter D.
So what have I been doing wrong here? My record overall is pretty good and I don't think I'm that bad of a coach...but in 3.25 games I've gotten 3 deaths and 3 SIs against other low TR teams while sporting a 1W,1T,2L record...
Old World certainly does not look underpowered, and with the similiar Chaos Pact team I am 11W-3T-4L...

Well i never played them, but to me it looks like you miss a lot of speed. Can't you put in a human/WE catcher/wardancer? and work from there?swilhelm73 wrote:No one has any hints, suggestions, or thoughts?
That would probably my tactic..use a cage like tactic to go iinto enemy field for 3 steps and then jump from there...use the other catcher/elf down field to be able to catch or divert people from the cage.
But as said, i never played tehm.
oh, and i would use at least one halfling with your ogre, so you can go for a last-turn-TD
