Just wondering if any of you guys can top this legend of the bb field! ( well in our league anyway!) Hes a wood elf catcher, (named heaven) and here is his stats,
11 2 4 7 block, dodge, sprint, surefeet, catch
He totaled up over 100 spp's. Scores a td in a turn and soon skips off to the dugout again. My opponents absolutely him!

Well, they're not woodelves,
but they are the best players in our competition:
*William 'The Tutor' van Orange Nassau, Human Blitzer
7 4 4 8, Block, MB, Tackle, Guard.
*Hieronymus Bosch, Orc Blitzer
6 3 4 9, Block, Dodge, NoS, SF
Of course there are more brilliant players, but these are the most impressive.....

Not a woodie, but my favourite player is Snaga, my Orc Thrower
+ST, +AG and Block on top of Sure Hands and Pass. A very versatile player indeed.

The star ally from Bretonnia on my Dwaf team
Jean Pierre
8 3 4 9 Block, Pro, Pass, Catch Sidestep, Diving tackle(the old one) Leap, Dodge +ma +ag +av(allready incorperated in his statline, the av from a magic helmet)
This is guy is one of the single reasons tha i got into this years final(sadly i lost it 0-1)
Througout this years season he has acomplished severel major feats.
Has been turned into a toad twice and survived teh ensurering froghunt.
Has been killed and saved by apothecaries and or healing scrolls 6 times.
Caused 7 cassualties all of them with diving tackle, 5 of them has been 2 dices against himself blocks.
His major feat was in a game where i recived the ball in the first half, after a abysmall half i was traillin 0-2 and my opponent would recieve the ball in the 2.half. During this half he more or less singly handed won me the game by causing 1 cassualty on a ogre and scoring 3 toucdowns. The game ended 3-2 much to my opponents frustration.
In the league i play in we start all over with fresh teams at the start of a new season, so he wont see action again, but he has been the best player ever on a team i have played.

This is from a team I had several years ago, from old 3rd Ed. rules. Her name was Arwen (yes just like Liv Tyler)
She was 8 2 6 8 Catch Dodge Passblock Leap Pro
Never hit with a lightning bolt (even tho back then EVERYONE that team was playing had a wiz). She actually didn't catch too many int's (3 iirc) because after a while people just didn't throw if she was on the field. Needless to say my wardancers were fine with that.
The MA downgrade came pretty early in her career, but so did the 2 AG upgrades (1st 2 rolls she got), so there was no way I was getting rid of her by then. I saw her potential immediately. Especially back in the day where you could leap multiple times, she was a total nightmare.
Ahhh...the good old days!

Larry, I thought 10 was the maximum stat you could have. In the old rules I had a Wardancer with 9 4 5 8 Block, Dodge, Leap, Diving Tackle (old school).

+AV from Magic Helmet. Nice one. Would have gotten even better if the league hadn´t ended.

Galadriel Mourning (Witch Elf) 7 4 5 8 Frenzy, Dodge, Jump Up, Block, Leap, Pass Block, Nerves of Steel, Magic Helmet, +2 AG, +1 ST
She was a carry over from 3ed and when we aged her she picked up -1AG and 4 niggles so she really only plays once in a blue moon.
15 Comps
49 TD's
5 Interceptions
4 Casualties
4 mvp's
total 200 Spp's
and still going strong, she rocks.

A lot of leagues house-ruled it, but the book only says that you can't have more than 2 upgrades at the same stat...so a Gutter Runner or W.E. Catcher could indeed have 11MA...then the Gutter Runner could take Very Long Legs for an effective 12...pretty gross.

Well I've always played that you could only get +2 to movement whether you have VLL or not - ie if you have VLL then you can only get one more +1 Move - so a max of 11 movement.

I just played a PBEM game vs. a guy with a ST5 High Elf Catcher. Do you know how annoying that is? Let me tell you, it's damn annoying.

We always played that mutations were special, and the ones that added to stats went above and beyond the +2 max. It's not in the rules either way, but since many of the mutations only add to a stat in certain circumstances (like xtra head, xtra arms, etc) it seemed sensible.
We never had a GR with 2MA upgrades AND vll anyway that I know of, but it would have been allowed.

He was from before LRB so he got a Magic helmet
