Personally, I don't have a problem with FUMBBL. I just think that people from fumbbl tend to already make judgements about OLBBL being a cheating league, or whatever, when it would seem easier to cheat when they are over 600 games played per day without some sort of permanent log help by someone, and only 30 or so admins. And how is making an agreement before the game cheating? Sure, it might not be in the spirit of the game, or whatever you want to call it, but it's usually just a simple will to have a team come playoff time. But if it sounded like I was trying to be Anti-Fumbbl, I wasn't. That was mostly off the top of my head after a 3 hour chemistry lab.
Really, I think they should be two seperate entities both in style of play and style of coach. I'm just sick of FUMBBL people calling us "cheaters", "violent" or whatever else I've heard. If you want to play LRB, 600 games a day, and whatever, that's fine. I really have no problem with that. But the main point is, and I'd like to thank the OLBBL locker room for this, is that OLBBL and many smaller, less-automated leagues allow a more "real league" feel to them. At our peak, OLBBL got up to 100 or so coaches.. I don't want to say I knew all of them, because that would be a lie..But I knew a lot of them. Some of them left for FUMBBL on less than favorable terms with the lack of speed in OLBBL. But most people stayed, even with this "new, faster" client. Mainly because where else can you get insulted for being one of the best BB coaches that the OLBBL has seen play (Looking at you, Cujo)...
Tired of Ageing? OLBBL wants YOU!

To be perfectly honest I dont think cheating on fumbbl is possible. Certainly not in the long term.
Any suspicions of cheating can be submitted privatly by each member, so if someone drops out against me I can report them and if they have things like this on their record they are punished.
I'm not sure Fumbbl has the admin staff to cope at all hours of the day but most of he time there are clearly more than enough to keep things running smoothly.
The frequency of games means nothing, rather the methods of picking up cheating are pretty solid.
I don't think anyone on Fumbbl thinks your playing a foul fest or the whole league is dominated by monster teams, but many of us have played 3rd edition and dont miss it at all.
I miss some aspects like the cards (and yes even the blood) but there's just no comparison to the LRB.
One of your sites selling points is no ageing and the assertion that most people hate it. Well most people do but only when it happens to THEIR players. Once you start to get to a stage where your thinking about playing that TR250 dwarf team then your suddeny glad hes got all those niggles. Ageing may not be perfect but it does solve alot of the problems of a permanent league.
As far as community goes I defy to find a more welcoming and friendly community. Grumbledook exempted were a happy lot
I did sneak a look at the OLBBL (under another name) and its just not the same sorry.
Hireing players from other races may be fun but its certainly unbalancing and favours the teams with the most cash, rather than the better player.
I don't have any problem with the OLBBL at all its just not for me.
