Lucien .. you could always just leave them on the grounds and try and make the TZ run with just the Flings ... nothing in WA says you HAVE to stand them up.Lucien Swift wrote:eh... the more lowly your players, the more frequently they achieve the ridiculous... of course, with those damn minotaurs falling all over the place, the odds of me actually making the 12 or so pace march to the endzone even without resistance before halftime is pretty much out of the question

Well the Dragonfang Venom vs the Destructors. is prooving to be a real Battle in the centre of the pitch.
the Destructors received, and in typical chaos fashion have started there advance, only this time to be halted on the half way line by a line of Saurus. Incredibly 2 of the Destructors have been ko'd by Skinks, but the game is in a bit of a mess at the moment and even if the ball does come free, its gonna have so many tackle zones on it then it'll be even more of a lottery. At present i cant see this one being more dramatic than a 1-0 , 1-1, and possibly 0-0 if this keeps up, and were only in turn 3

The clash between the Pharaonic Phootballers and Lounge Lizards was expected to be a high class affair when it was announced that it would be held in The Palace. However, Ticketmummies overestimated the opening season draw and amid scandals of scalpers and surcharges, were only able to draw 22,000 of the most die-hard fans.
Penniless and demanding their monies worth, the fans mugged the starting ref at the opening whistle and what was billed as the Ballet of Bloodbowl devolved into the no holds barred Holiday Foulfest. In all the confusion, the Lizzies even set up to receive before realizing their fellow teammate Bhag was in the lockerroom still buffing his scales. The Phootballers soon exacerbated the situation, badly hurting a skink on the first foul of turn one. But the Sauri bull rush proved too much to handle and they manage to force a hole through the lines and let the skink Jacquet in for the 1-0 score.
In spite of initial success on the ensuing kickoff, the Phoots were unsuccessful in keeping the nimble lizards out of their backfield. Forced from behind to move upfield quickly, the humans had set up what looked to be an impenetrable cage deep within scoring distance, and needed only to move their passer to within quick range and dump off the ball to safety.
A strong wind, however, had other ideas and the pass was blown right back into the thrower's hands who succeeded in catching his own pass. Naked and alone, Lederzova moved in for the kill and blasted Khufu to the ground, and the ball bounced gracefully into the soft hands of the waiting Saurus Rockliner. Following a rolling scrum which at one point found our hero Rockliner surrounded by six humans and contemplating throwing a pass up for grabs, the lizzies were able to secure the ball and hand it off to Jacquet for his second TD of the day to end the half.
As the teams headed to their lockerrooms for halftime, the Lounge Lizzies coach was seen heading upstairs to the box to check out the first half stats. The coach was quite unpleased with his team's effort who only managed to break armor on one block and in spite of breaking armor on six out of six fouls, all resulted in stuns. In fact, the coach discovered that the armor rolls his team dished out, in order, were 2,3,4,5,6,7 and then...a 3 to finish off the first half....just when his frustration was being tempered with the belief the trend would continue.
Somewhere, the gods are laughing...
