Looking to Join a Cyanide League

When you play multiplayer games do the players use skype to talk or a chat client? Just curious if there is any communication while playing?

There is in-game text chat. My own league has a Ventrilo server set up as well.

At GOBBLN we have a teamspeak server and encourage players to use it, about half do. There are a couple of other leagues I know of that do use them, but the majority it seems do not.

Thanks for the response guys. Can you guys recommend a league? I live in Canada but I'd be willing to work around any time zone scheduling issues.

I strongly recommend OFL for your timezone: http://www.shalkith.com/bloodbowl/

They don't use the Cyanide servers, but use direct-IP instead. This means that they have all the races (the stats and skillsets are identical to Slann and Pact but they've been rethemed - Slann are now Goblin Circus), all the star players (modelled by the appropriate Legend model of the race), and they also have some interesting non-canon stuff like free agents, and leagues run NFL-style with conferences etc. It requires a little technical ability to get the direct-IP thing running, but they have an excellent guide and a couple of IT gurus in their ranks to get you going.

I'd suggest you go to http://www.bbattl.com and look at the member leagues there. BBATTL is an organization of many different leagues using the Cyanide client. The leagues themselves are all great leagues, with different rulesets and timezones. Some of them cover multiple timezones, while others are based in a single zone. People have different needs, so research what fits for you.

I would suggest joining private leagues on the cyanide client.

The one I am in is here and I have found the coaches to be a good lot. We also have a team speak server.
