Got myself the pc game now, be happy to play in a TFF league, would be willing to run it as well, though im not sure ive quite got to grips with the technical side of things yet to be able to run it effectively.

I was going to suggest waiting until LE comes out as the greater mix of races will see a far more balanced league.

been setting up my pc to record games with commentary as well, been messing around with all kinds of software this week

finally installed the game, the disconnect = lose is frustrating

was playing vs some dark elves, nearly got the turnover but he scored, then my router had a fit, the reconnect time isn't long enough for the router to restart

reconnect and reload and its given me the loss, great

so then i get matched up with goblins, my third turn, connection goes again and I get a loss to the goblins

so 5 games played and 2 automatic losses, any way around this?

No way round it, getting a bit fed up that everytime i look like wining a game i.e go 2 up my oppenents quit, ive yet to complete a game ive won yet, meaning my team progression is taking forever.

surely if they quit you get the concession?

my losses have come from "conceding" due to my connection going

Why bother then? You can play the new FFB (LRB6) client on fumbbl. I can't imagine putting up with wasting my time every game to someone quitting.

the FFB client isn't configurable enough yet from a visual point of view to switch from playing with BOTOCS, that and botocs is more complete still at this point in time

FFB client is shaping up nicely though, be great when the client+server is released so we can set up leagues

fumbbl just has different annoyances to playing on cyanide though and the cyanide game is actually fun despite its limitations

I personally don't play in the "public league" much. Private leagues are the best part of this game. I've been playing in Private leagues since the game came out and have only had 5 games end from connection problems, and have never had someone just quit(concede) a game.

Ive joined a private league, got my 1st game arranged for tonight, fingers crossed the connection holds.

Well I've just downloaded and installed the limited version of the Legendary Edition, which is single player at the moment, but when it does go live next week, I'd love to join in on any tournaments any of you are running.

I just installed LE today and would love to join a league. I am still very much a rookie, but I promise I am well-mannered...as well-mannered as a goblin coach can be, anyhow!
