Its at times like this that when you are glad the cards are largely gone - well at least I am anyway.

can,t remember, i was that bemused by it all i actually sent the file back to Brian thinking he'd made a mistake and blitzed twice . Needless to say when he pointed out the card, i didn't even look where it came from, just blindly accepted it and defeat at the same time :(

McDeth,

I strongly believe that spell casters should NOT be able to be raised with their spell casting abilities intact - getting Magic Helmets for the team is not a good idea IMO (sure the chance is not that huge for each game, but over a season, there is a decent chance of at least one).

The Dorks (Norse) v Trambi's Elven upstarts is an interesting game. Trambis's Elves are 3-0 and he is playing a very aggressive game. This resulted in the Dorks losing the ball and conceeding the first touchdown.

However, this has come at a heavy price. In 7 turns, the Elves have suffered 5 casualties and currently 3 more are KO'd. I guess fighting against a Storm Giant (Block, Mighty Blow Frenzy), Snow Troll (Blodge, Pro, Mighty Blow), several Blitzers (one with Piling On, Mighty Blow and Push plus others - one with MB!) is not one that Elves should undertake!

The Dorks have the ball and barring some form of miracle play should score to equalise at the half. Although the Dark Elves will be down players, with a ST 4 Witch Elf with leap (the ST 4 via a Handicap roll) and a ST 4 thrower (both currently KO'd) :) they are receiving and are still a tough opponent.

The Khemri are losing their ability to raise the dead starting in Season 4 of the MBBL2.

I will also disallow the raising of players as spellcasters for the two teams that will still be able to raise players (Undead and Unholy Araby).

First:

Galak,

Good to hear about raise dead.

Second:

The Dorks did equalise and have managed to steal the ball from the Elves in the 2nd half. The casualty dice have beeen more friendly this half and to date the Elves have suffered a total of 6. That said, the Elves are suffering from the Elven curse of 1s and no rerolls.

The ST 4 leaping Witch Elf is probably the only way the Elves can realistically stop the Dorks scoring the winner. However, does she want to come an try? Trambi - The Norse are ready! :P

Well the Dorks managed to walk all the way to the end zone to seal victory 2-1 and 6-1 in casualties. Trambi's upstart Elves are in a spot of trouble for next game since the surgery is pretty full.

The Dorks tried to collect on the bounty offered for the Witch Elf - sucked her in to try a 2 dice defender's block and she promptly niggled herself on a gfi - damn we were all set to pile on her and have some fun

So both teams are now at 3-1.
