Jbb Patch 7.5 is out.

Added I AM THE GREATEST! handicap results.

Added niggling injury rolls at half time for FUMBBL DIVX testing.

Added handicap results display to the right click popup menu. If there are handicaps then a "Handicaps" menu item is added which expands to a list of the handicaps rolled. Clicking them does nothing but close the popup menu. I didn't test it put spectators should be able to view this list as well.

Fixed a problem where a SI from the crowd that is regenerated would be reported incorrectly in the result file on the other computer.
Fixed a problem where a fanatic blocking a player on their team with sidestep would ask the opponent for the sidestep square.

Probably a few more fixes in Bugzilla I can't recall at the moment.

Well I am finally giving up on my old email address "skijunkie@collegeclub.com". I've created a new one on hotmail. So anyone that has emailed me in the last month or so should resend the email to "skijunkiejbb@hotmail.com". I have been unable to access my old email address for at least a month now.

JBB 7.9 is out.

I've been sitting on these changes for some time now hoping I would have time to do more. As I am still really busy with real life work I decided to go ahead and put this out since it has been a while.

NOTE: Only the austin.rr.com and geocities.com websites have the new patch. Christer apparently closed the hole I used to update the no-ip.org site hosted on fumbbl (Again ;-] ).

Added APPEARANCE FEE. The game checks to see if the team has enough money to pay the appearance fee in the treasury, BUT subtracts the fee from the teams winnings at the end of the game. This means that winnings can now go negative. So if the winnings are negative, you subtract this amount from the team treasury at the end of the game.

Enter and escape keys no longer press buttons in popups when it is not your turn. This should stop problems of accidentally answering popups while typing in the message window yet still give you the happiness of using the keys when it is your turn and you ARE paying attention.

Default to displaying INC save game files first instead of the DAT save game files.

Each time a new save game is written the old file is renamed to a <save file>BAK file as a backup. So if the save gets messed up you and your opponent can go rename these files to remove the "BAK" and try loading them.

Prevent DUMP OFF to the player that is using DUMP OFF.

Improved output message of news feature winnings so it is clear how much the handicap paid out.

All the options files that have color numbers now support both octal and hex color numbers in them.

Side note, my server machine is being a fruitcake, so I can't update it right now. :( Sorry for both people who use my program still. (And I can't believe people do...) It might be dead permanently, to be honest, 'cause it's really the only reason I'm keeping one of my current domain names around...and $30 a year for that is kind of...ah...painful.

Jbb 8.1 is out.

Fixes NO HANDS problem with BONEHEAD and REALLY STUPID.

Adds spectator emotes. Spectators can now send emote sounds that the coaches playing the game and other spectators can hear. See the readme.txt file for full details. Current emotes are used by tying one of these in the chat window: "/cheer", "/boo", "/hurt".

Sound system has been re-written to work with spectator emotes, so let me know if there are any new sound problems.

hi:)

just wondered if anyone could give me some help. Have been trying to install the java bbowl program, and when I try running it, I get the initial window, but where the pitch is, I get a blue background, and when I use the cursor on it, is shows a brown moving pixel.

Anyone know what I need to do to get it working?

Thanks in advance.
