NEW pbbem player needs help setting up shop

The title says it all pretty much other than the fact I am computer inept. Any help getting started in the PBBem league would be greatly appreciated. I am under the Moniker of SYKOJAK at the pbbem forum. I believe that i have downloaded everything I need help getting started.
