Season 2 of the MBBL has started.

Match of note: Woody drew Acerak and I drew Neo in the 1st round. May the best man win (or at least whoever Nuffle favors at the moment :D )

I ended up with some poor wood elves for my necromantic team to slap around. Just hope i have better luck than in my most recent games.

And of course, my Lustrians are up against Chaos Pact in their first match. Allied teams going head to head for glory...

My Choas pact drew Norse so all my strength will be negated by "both down" results, I'm sure!

My chaos drew necromantic, so my strenght will not help me much here.

Grifter,

Follow the rules for the website and play your two practice matches with existing MBBL coaches.

I might lose a couple players during the season ... if I do, then you'll be top on the list to replace them if I have your application and 2 practice matches. Note: Play 2 games at once so that it only takes you 3-5 weeks to finish them both.

Well I've got some Dwarves too - of the Chaos variety.

My Mummies are going to enjoy squashing them! :) Those CDs are going to be very short once I get Piling On to work! :) As for the Hobbos..... well that's a 97% chance of armour break! Ouch! [OK only 2 out of 4 Mummies have Piling On - the others will get it after this game is finished!]

Come on SBG........ lets get the game going... let's see how long your CD Blockers survive with an effective av of 4!

In case you're wondering...

Opponent to take turn 2, after he got kicked off to. The Panzies have a whole 4 men left on the field, lucky them. ;)

OK an update on my MBBL game:-

SBG (Chaos Dwarf) v Gangranettes (Khemri)

The Gangranettes are a converted Undead team... and seem to like the extra power that the sun has given them!

SBG has been unlucky with a number of rolls to date:-

His Handicap roll was +1 to FF (Yuk!)

The KO was a pitch invasion which resulted in 2 stunned CDs and a KO's CD.

I received in the Pouring Rain and the Mummies (and a skeleton!) have been hitting... so far 3 Hobbos are BH'd and a CD is KO'd. SBG only has 1 AG3 player left - and he's on the bench! In addition another CD was sent off trying to foul a Mummy! The Gangranettes have played 4 turns v SBG's 3 and need to make 1 GFI to score next turn.

Finished my MBBL game yesterday to a 12-0 victory.

The Panzies (High Elf) unfortunately for their coach lived up to their name in the game and suffered 3 badly hurts and one death by the seventh turn of the first half. The Horde d'voeurs (Chaos Pact) were unable to get any more casualties during the rest of the game but with the Panzies rolling in and out of the KO box, they played the last half with no more than 5-6 players the entire time, but still came close to scoring a TD near the end of the second half with a nice play to blitz, dodge and pass (with different players) their way out of what was thought to be an anbreakable circle around them and sprint close to their end zone.

Perhaps the only unhappiness for the Horde was the lackluster play of their Orc thrower who failed all four passes he attempted in the game (3 quick and one short) fumbling 3 of the 4. Needless to say, the team was happy when the coach decided near the end of the game to allow the skaven passer to throw the ball for an easy completion.

The receiving corps took a turn for the worse, also, when the Norse Catcher apparently sustained a career limiting injury to his beer belly on his second TD of the day and niggled on his first ever aging roll.

The coaches are taking issue with management over how a rookie could sustain a niggle in his first ever game, but he is currently listed as probable by the team doctors for week 2.

12-0 is 4-0 in old money. Still a good score of course (3 points per TD)
