Yo peeps,

With FUMBBL having moved its league format over to LRB6, the White Isle league is looking for new members. The White Isle is one of the largest and most prestigious leagues over on FUMBBL, and is open to all British or British-based coaches. So if you can reliably commit to a game a week then why not sign up? If you haven't played FUMBBL, why not give it a go? It's simple to use and you don't need to download anything as it all runs on Java.

Pete will be doing the draft on Sunday evening so there is still time to join one of FUMBBL’s top leagues at the start on an exciting new era.

My enjoyment of the site doubled after joining White Isle and now 17 seasons and 129 games later the team is still going strong (well they are humans so not that strong). We have plenty of TT tourney regulars in the league, so there are bound to be names you recognise, just make sure to take everything Meta-goo says with a pinch of salt.

After being pressganged by jock to join the WIL I went onto fummbl and found when I went on the chat nothing came up. Am I missing out on something?

The white isle channel is named #whiteisle so typing “/join # whiteisle” (without the “”) should work.
The channel is usually pretty busy so if you ask in main someone should be able to point you in the right direction as well.

The main league is full at the moment as we are mid season, so to get in you need to join the White Isle Fringe. This has short leagues and cups you can play in whilst you wait for a spot to open up and you get to keep the Fringe team so can get a bit of a head start.

I run the Fringe so drop me a PM on FUMBBL with the race you want to use, pretty much anything aside from Dark or High Elves is fine. We will be starting a 16 team KO cup soon, with the 8 round 1 losers going into an 8 team KO competition, so everyone gets 2-4 games.

Are you clicking the chat link from fumbbl or loading from an irc client,

if its from fumbbl check you're Java version is up to date first and foremost.

It's the fumbbl chat not the irc. How do i update my java?
