Since noone have started this thread yet i guess i just have to make it
After the first half of the game between Axme Akaddemi of Inventions and Sons of Saddam the score is 2-2 with 1 casuality to each of the teams.
For some reason defence seems to not be in the vocabulary of the two teams as we have had 3 two turn td, while on the last td none of my skavens did not even get close to his ballcarrier due to lots of dice roll failure and good offence.
Sos are receiving in the second half with 1 player more on the field (11 vs 10), but are weakened as their Bestigor is KO.

Axme Akaddemi of Inventions won 3-2 over Sons of Saddam.
After scoring lots of td in the first half, both teams had problems with scoring in the second.
But AAoI managed to pick up the ball in SoS half and was lucky enough to not being knocked down and also lucky enough to dodge away and score.
SoS played brutally in the second half as they killed a clanrat and SI another while the skaven team SI a beastman who got saved by the APO.
In the end it was a really fun and close game.

Mid-way though the 2nd half, and it's 0-0 between my imir and Galak's Snotlings. I lead 7-1 in cas, but the Pump Wagons just killed a Fimm Warrior on a foul

.
I've finally got the ball in Galak's half and it 'll be a harried but slow run to the EZ (if I get there).

So you only used 12 turns to get the ball?
You must be lucky this game, since you managed to get the ball so fast

Having drawn Dangerous Daves Norse team, i was expecting a truly grueling match. However DW had already helped me out by seriously injuring three of Dave's team before the game began.
An incredulously poor run of dice rolls, literally 1's and Skulls. Troll hardly passing a really stupid roll, even with pro, left a Bull able to free the ball up and score in about the 5th turn. At that point things got worse for the Dorks. The Storm Giant was sent of ( having rolled a double six ) probably the first six dave had rolled in the game. then with three turns to equalize, produced a holein my defence only to see the ball intercepted by my Bull Centaur on another six, with two turns to get a 2-0 lead, the Bull successfully GFi's his way 10 squares away from the endzone. Dave knocked over my other Bull, who then dodged and GFi's his way into the end zone, while the other Bull GFi's his way to hand off the ball for a fantastic TD.
All this and i hadn't even received the kick off yet.
Another turn of events at the ko, saw one of Dave's experienced Niggled players out and after a tight drive, turn 5 culminated in a Chaos Dwarf blitzing and getting a casualty and picking the ball up and GFi'ing twice for a 3-0 lead.
Sometimes you have to ride with the luck, and i can bet dave is pretty gutted with the cruel die rolls he's had continually through the game, compared to my incredible luck.
Dave. I almost feel like apologising for the run i've had in this one.

Its OK...... with av 7 I knew this would happen sooner or later. Being down players, I had to take some chances (hence the INT by your Bull) and if it had come off, then it may have been different. Norse v av9 with copious amounts of guard is a poor match up.
At least we've put up a better show in the second half and I even got numbers on the field to roughly equate knocked the ball free... but then you managed to pick the ball up with a CD

and gfi twice to score.
Anyway - unless your turn 8 has been nasty, I've only got BH's (apoth cured the death) so my next opponent is gonna get a backlash (maybe!). Just hope my ageing rolls are OK......

Well, I managed to pull off a 1-0 win against the snots, cas 8-3 in my favour. One day I'll look through the log, the number of 4's and 5's on snots AV rolls seems high

Damn invunerable Snotlings
Managed to score in my last turn, but only after needing a GFI. I've never been so worried about a dice roll.
Earnt enough money to replace the dead player, and buy a lesser daemon, so now I've got someone who thinks he's an elf, and will fail a 2+ pick up

It's about halfway through the first half in the match between the Harmland Glober Rotters and Arvandoria Athletic. I can't say it's going well - a whole team of FA is not ideal opposition for an elf team, IMO. I'm trying to run the ball since I can't rely on being able to catch with so much FA around, but I'm struggling to hit a way through since a huge amount of the time I can't actually throw the block.
At least I've survived the Steam of Corruption spell with nobody injured!

Well it was another Crushing Defeat for Demon Spawn at the hands of The Undertakers. This would be partially due to the 1-5 casualty war. Luckily for the DS only 1 was anything worse than a badly hurt, and that was cured by Doc Tachyon. Demon Spawn will actually start their next game with 12 players, 13 if the new guy on the team doesnt get killed by being exposed to the altar formed entirely by a meteoric metal of unusual Warpstone.

Having had a bad turn previously - failed a 2+ dodge with a re-roll and left my ball-carrier exposed - Arvandoria Athletic needed a good turn. My ball carrier had been sacked and a beastman had got the ball and run deep into my half threatening to score next turn.
OK, here's what happened... no team re-rolls were left, so it was "seat of the pants" stuff:
A line-elf with Guard stood up, dodged twice and went for it to put a TZ on the ball carrier.
A line-elf dodged, failed, used Dodge and succeeded and threw a 2-dice block on the beastman. Back and down went the ball carrier, fatality inflicted

and the ball bounced into the crowd and was thrown back in to land in empty space on the halfway line.
A line-elf (w/Blodge) dodged and put a TZ on the ball as some sort of protection.
A line-elf with Block knocked down a beastman with an assist from a Blodge line-elf who was then free to run, dodge, and put more protection near the halfway line.
My thrower who wasn't stunned stood up, dodged, picked-up the ball, attempted a pass (fumbled, but the thrown accurately using Pass skill) to a Lion Warrior (NoS) in two nurgle TZs. The TZs wouldn't affect the catch, but the presence of two lots of FA so close would... I needed 4+ to catch, which the Catch skill gave me on the second attempt. The LW dodged and ran in to score.
A very dramatic and extremely lucky TD, but the score is 1-0 to the elves. Down with Nurgle!!!

Okay that is one VERY scary player .
Galak .... who wishes that the MBBL2 skills would get added to the game.

And since Dauntless is a skill in MBBL2, all normal skill rolls too.
