Also, I know that some of the site looks like hell, and it is linked back to the old site... I am workin' on it... but the new forums explain the new format...
Basically you can challenge all you want with your 2 teams. You get a league score that is based pretty closely to the NAF. I still make all game files and check all rosters by hand, but it is much faster now, ask the coaches. There are 2 Major tournaments per year, one from Oct. 3rd - Dec. 20th and another from April 3rd to June 21st. They rotate through the Spike, Dungeonbowl, Chaos Cup and the Blood Bowl. The top 16 coaches as of Sept. 30th or April 1st are invited to join the tournament, they don't have to, unless they are the current holder of the cup. While in a tournament they don't lose or gain league score. Meanwhile everyone else may continue to challenge.
This also opens up the possibility of having minor tournaments that the coaches can run. These can be open or invite, but must be approved by the commish. An example is that 8 teams could get together and each put 10k into the 'pot' and winner takes all or whatever they decide. Things like that... many possibilities!
Anyways, just an FYI...
