AFTER SOME SOUND ADVICE FROM "LEBLANC13"

I HAVE DECIDED TO GO FOR 6 SAURUS, 5 SKINKS, 3 RE ROLLS AND FOUR FAN FACTOR AS MY STARTING TEAM. BUT TO GIVE ME THE BEST START IN OUR LEAGUE WHAT IS THE BEST STARTING SET UP, SHALL I JUST FLOOD THE FRONT LINE WITH MY SAURUS AND HOPE IT HOLDS, AND THEN LET THE SKINKS GO ROAMING WHEN I AM ATTACKING. ANY ONE GOT ANY BETTER IDEAS. OH AND ONE MORE THING WHAT WOULD YOU BY FIRST AN APOTH OR EXTRA SKINK.

I usually find that if you are playing a bashing team I would not put more that the required three players on the line of scrimmage. I would keep the rest spread out in your backfield to better cover your opposition. Use your saurus to put pressure on his ball carriers while your skinks double/triple team isolated players trying to break through your defense. Or you could use your skinks to pick up a ball that bounces out of the saurus/chaos scrum and run in for a TD. Also, don't be afraid to foul your opposition once they are on the ground. Once you are caught, I would refrain from fouling until the eye wasn't on you anymore though.

Try to always get a 2 dice block. Never throw a 1 die block unless you absolutely have no other alternative. This should save you from having to use re-rolls on bad block results.

I wasn't set in stone about the team suggestions I gave you however. As another poster put on your thread, if you are planning to play beyond 10 games in your league you may want to consider a higher fan factor to start with. You can do this by reducing the number of starting saurus, replacing them with a skink, and using the difference in price to fuel a higher fan factor.

Also, I recomment buying the apothecary first and then purchasing 1 more skink followed by either another reroll or the kroxigor. Obviously if you take any serious losses with your team you may have to change your purchasing plans to compensate.

Thanks for all your advice you have given me leblanc13, it will help no end when i come to start the league. And as my league is over ten games long then we have the Chaos Cup i may take your advice and drop one saurus in favour of extra re-rolls. anyway thanks a lot mate, speak to you soon.
