UBER noob rule questions- concerning throwing/catching

hey people at talkbloodbowl.

ok- the situation is-

a player has just recieved the ball (hand off/throw) and has caught it............right NOW- can i leave that player and do moves with others (ie- blitz, block move) and then come back to move the player who has caught the ball and move him or do a throw etc.

basically- once a player has caught the ball- is that the start of his "turn"- so i have to do everything with him then? or can i leave it till later?

and concerning throwing- can i do a "quick pass" if my player is in an adjacent (sp!) square to the guy i am throwing it to (like a hand off)

You do not have to do anything with the player that caught the ball. He can act anytime later. Even if he has acted before, he can still catch the ball.

And you can pass to a player adjacent to you, you do not have to hand-off.

nope you can leave where he is if you wanted. as soon as he catches the ball it's your turn not the players turn if you understand. so the player that's caught the ball doesn't have to be the first one that moves.

i've probably made that clear as mud but i hope you understand what i meant.

end of opponent's turn

start of your turn

move any of your models that you want according to the rules

First of all, welcome!

To your questions:

Catching the bal is not an action, so after catching the ball you can still have an action with the player that caught the bal (unless you allready moved that player in your turn. you only have one action per player!).

Note that you may only pass with 1 player on your team each turn.

And yes, you can "pass" a quick pass to a player that is adjacent to yours (to score a quick completion), but it fails ever so often when you don't expect it!
