Player reroll and Team re-roll
If a player has a " player re-roll" can you use a team reroll for that same roll?
I was under the impression you can only re-roll an outcome once?

Example.
Player dodging has the dodge skill. Need a 3 to dodge, and you roll a 2. Fail. Use the dodge skill and reroll the dodge roll, 2 again. Fail. You cannot use a team Reroll or any other form of reroll (ex: Pro skill) to reroll that failed roll a third time.
Other example that is similar to your question, but a bit different, as you reroll a different roll.
Player dodging has the dodge skill. Need a 3 to dodge, and you roll a 2. Fail. Use the dodge skill and reroll the dodge roll, 4, so succeed. You then continue and dodge again with the same player. You need a 2 to succeed, and you roll a 1. You cannot use the Dodge skill as you already used it. But you can use a Team Reroll, as you are not rerolling the same roll. Use a Team Reroll and roll a 3, succeed.

no it isn'tAndromidius wrote:You could also use the Pro skill to attempt a second reroll instead of using the Team Reroll in the example above. So it's possible to reroll three (or more, actually) actions a turn with one player.

Pro allows you to reroll the original dice result, but only if you roll a 4+ to activate the pro skill.
If your pro activation fails, you can then use your team reroll to reroll that particular result.
Obviously its much easyer just to use your teamreroll and forgo the pro, but sometimes you just want to give it a shot.
You cannot however reroll the same result 3 times.

Agreed you can never reroll a single die roll more than once. But what I think he was trying to say is that you can re-roll any number of separate die rolls in a single action. For example; Declare a blitze, dodge reroll on the first dodge, pro reroll on the second dodge, team reroll on the block, piling on for the armour roll. You can end up using a lot of rerolls in a single action, though on different rolls.sirsebstar wrote:no it isn'tAndromidius wrote:You could also use the Pro skill to attempt a second reroll instead of using the Team Reroll in the example above. Great! Thanks for the clarification.
I will be playing another dwarf team with an ogre. Ogre has guard and breal tackle ( odd choice imho) he has 4 blockers with guard so I guess I will target those guys and a runner with block.
I'm aming to take his big guy out first with my slayers..both have MB. I have 1 blocker with guard, a blitzer with guard and a runner with block.
here is my team
2 slayers
2 blitzters
2 Runner
6 Blockers
3 team rr
9 FF
2 Assitant Coaches
2 Cheer Leaders
apothecary and 100gp in the bank.
Should I buy another blocker? Usually put runner on defense against fast teams, but any suggestions?

What rules are you using where Dwarfs still have access to an Ogre?
And nothing wrong with Break Tackle on a Ogre.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.
