Another new guy
Hi, just played my first game of Blood Bowl since the second edition back in the late 80's, bless that grey polystyrene board. I have to say the current rules are great. Anyway the group I play in are going to set up a league and I'll be playing Orcs and was wondering if you could give me some pointers for a good starting roster?
Cheers

Hi there,
Generally speaking roster advice will get more responses in the tactics/team development forum at the bottom but I'll get you started anyways:
320 4 Black Orcs
320 4 Blitzers
should always be in your team. Your best players by a long way.
I also think 3 rerolls (180) are a must.
After that, some people like linos (very resistant side), some the thrower (for the Surehands skill & early access to the Leader skills) and some prefer Gobbos (for fun really but they're mobile).
Personally, I prefer to start with:
320 4 Black Orcs
320 4 Blitzers
70 1 Thrower
100 2 Lineman
180 3 rerolls
10 FF1
But you have a lot of options with Orcs.
Enjoy!

Welcome Robbos
Glad you're back playing the wonderful game, that is BB! Re: Line-up, I would echo PubBowler's thoughts.

Welcome back to the game.
For my thoughts on rejoining read thread viewtopic.php?t=24988 if you haven't already.
Of course, if you played 2nd ed in the 80s you got out of the game before I even played my first game, so I don't know how relevant my thoughts on the adjustment will be.
