Hola!

Post by psycho paul »

Hello there!
First of all Id like to thank my mate thibault (Karpeth) for getting me back on BB after a pretty long hiatus, 15 years or so (albeit I only played a couple of game back then  ), so cheers for that!
I reckon I'll coach a skaven team... maybe lizardmen...
To cut a long story short I'm back!

Greetings! 15 years was about my hiatus, too. Believe me, the game is MUCH better now than it used to be.

Yes, I feel the same way. But comparing the game as it is now to how it was when I enjoyed it so much as a teenager, it seems obvious to me that the modern game is superior. So the only explanations I can think of are:

(1) I was more tolerant back then of flaws, whereas now I'd find those flaws might spoil my enjoyment to some extent.

(2) My memory of how much I enjoyed the game back then is coloured by nostalgia, selective recollection, or by how much I enjoy it now.

Don't get me wrong, BBv3 was great - it's not THAT different from what we have now, after all. It's just that I notice the improvements.

For now I shall be a proud and mentally impaired player who apparently shares the same intelligence level of that of a chimp. Now if you would excuse me I have pressing matters to attend to, I have found a stick and I am going to poke a banana.
