A friend of mine went to this place to play MTG and he said they play Blood Bowl on Sunday nights. Has anyone been here?

I don't know who was playing back then, if anyone, but I've just joined a league that plays there. So far no-ones played more than one or two games, so it's the perfect time to join. There'll be matches at the Scythe & Teacup this Sunday, or for more details, future match dates, etc, check out the Victory Doughnut Cup 2012 at www.wargamingpasty.co.uk/forum/

I'll be in the area in a few weeks.
Would there be any chance of a pick up game?

If you mean just stopping by the Scythe & Teacup unannounced, then it's pretty unlikely; you can only do that there with card games, Yu-Gi-Oh & Magic mostly. But if you let us know when you're coming, then as long as someone from the league is free, it's pretty likely, especially if you happen to be here when we have a match day. In that case, you should be able to get a few games. You've more chance of catchin us at that forum though, or on FUMBBL, as I think I'm the only one on here, 3 of us are on FUMBBL, and everyone's on wargaming pasty.
