Mod team
I'm pretty sure only the site owner, with his backend access (#phrasing) is the only one capable of appointing admins. But admins are capable of appointing mods.
Is it possible to have a review of the mod team? Some of them havent logged on in months, or over a year in a couple of cases.
Maybe appoint some mods who are active?

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.
Bribe level: good coffee.

Re: Mod team
I'll quite happily volunteer to mod the tourney section. I'm in that area all the time

What level of internet wizardry would it require?

Re: Mod team
I was previously spoken to by one of the TFF team at a TT tournament about whether I would have any interest in 'Mod'ing on TFF, I said I would be happy to but nothing ever came of it - still happy to help if I can.

Re: Mod team
I do manage my own forum but I don't think to many people would be happy if I moderated...

Re: Mod team
Loki was added a Mod in response to this request for a refresh of the Mod list. I also updated the list a bit for members that have left us and appear unlikely to return.

If it helps move past tourneys to the past tourney area, I'm all for it.VoodooMike wrote:Is more active moderation something that is needed?

Open applications is possibly the worst way to select new moderators.

Re: Mod team
Ah, ok... I can see it for that. I just always worry that moderators will get bored and look for reasons to moderate... if only because I've seen that a thousand times. There is nothing so intoxicating as new power.lunchmoney wrote:If it helps move past tourneys to the past tourney area, I'm all for it.
