I'm, don't, doesn't, .... are legal abbreviations because they are in the dictionnary.

I have actually taken to chanting OATOA when I e-mail my MBBL Elf opponent his turn. In a deep "pacific island, chanting at the idol" voice. I can see this making it into the BB lexiocon.
