Grashnak or Thark

Post by sven »

hello all

at the moment i often field Zzarg Madeye in my Chaos Dwarf team with excellent results, as my super hard BC's and CD's smash holes through everyone , then my HG's merely stoll down to catch another accurate pass from Zzarg. but i want something extra for the cup games we play at the end of our leauge sections, and cant decide to go for Gashnak or Thark, i know both do different things but what would any of you choose ?. what are their pro's and con's etc?

I presume you mean Gnashrak the minotaur and Zzarg (sp?) Madeye?

IIRC, and it's been a long time since I used star players, Gnashrak wasn't too bad and would compliment your team better than another blunderbuss.

Better still, don't allow Star Players in your league and rely on coaching skill ;) :P

Gnashrak does not have Block. Frenzy and three-dice blitzes are nice though.

HThark is what his nick suggests, unstoppable. Picks up the ball at 4+ w/ a reroll. A great scoring machine.

Yeah i was going to go with Thark because of him being, well unstoppable. and we like chucking starplayers into the mix as it spices things up no end, and after all that is why they are available, to be used not looked at. but it is each to their own.

thanks for your advice

I recommend that you go for Hthark the Unstoppable as well as he is...well...for lack of a better term...unstoppable.

Grashnak is good, but not as good as Hthark in my book.

*thinking*

How can I squeeze in another line about Htark saying he is unstoppable without looking like trying to exploit an already dried-out joke...?

Ha, guess I just did it! :)
