Hi all,
I would like to start playing the game, joining a club, playing in a league/Tournaments.
Any advice on how to get started?
i.e what to buy, team to play etc??
I am based in the London/Essex area.
Thanks for your help.

Find some blokes playing in your area and hang out for a nite, u will probably be able to borrow a team for the nite. Most longtime coaches have several teams and are willing to occasionally lend them out. By visiting the league u will also be able to find out if buying the game itself is a good idea. They mite all be bigtime players and all have the gameset, with boards and all u need is the team, or they mite have just enough and one more board is welcome anytime.

If you have a good internet connection, try playing a few games through FUMBBL. You'll learn faster, and can try out the teams you're thinking of buying.
