Not listening to Offspring will seriously improve your BB skills as well.

hi offspring welocome to tbb,

go for humans, when i started playing again i started with them and they were very forgiving, as they have plenty of built in re-rolls.

Try starting with teams which provide you with a lot of skills which give you re-rolls, such as Pass, Sure Hands, etc.

Your English is fine. Far better than my feeble attempts to learn another language.

Is it a short league? If so, you might want to consider Norse. They have low AV but they all start with block which makes them quite bashy.

Lizardmen are a bit tougher to play as you start with strength on a few players but very few skills in comparison.

Undead are fun and hit hard, but they often have trouble moving the ball.

Lizards are tricky to balance your plays between the stronger sauri and the fast (but fragile) skinks. Not an easy team IMHO

Undead or necromantic are very varied teams, using strong, fast and average players alike. You could give them a shot.

Norse have the big advantage of having block but lack pace and resistance.

Humans have players to fit all kind of coaches. They can fight, they can score, ... The usual all-round starting team.

Orcs are a bit tougher to manage due to their average to low pace. However, if you're in it for the bashing part, then they're a good starting team.

I won't start with Lizardmen. You have to learn the block and handoff game before you choose coaching them.
They don't forgive you mistakes and can force easy turnovers at the first games.

So Norse would be a good team to start with especially to learn the blocking game.

... my advice. Just stay at the team you have chosen. Never look for another team... just keep playing the only one you bought. What ever it is... never ever start buying more team. Never ! Dont do it !

If you do, you will end maybe like me... check my website

BTW... welcome here !

I can see the direction these guys are coming from in choosing a forgiving team, but I think I would disagree.

If you're really just starting and haven't digested the basic rules of the game, then a simple team with a fewer number of player types might be better for you.

The Lizardmen only have a couple player types not counting the big guy. The Saurus hit hard and the Skinks run fast. The team focuses on the 2 most basic concepts of Blood Bowl; blocking and moving. Of course, lizardman tactics can become quite complex with an experienced coach.

A Chaos team might be another good choice. Chaos Warriors are heavy hitters and the Beastman can do a little of everything. Even the chaos warriors can pick up the ball and run if they need to. The Norse are also a good choice.

However, if you already have a firm grasp on the rules and the flow of the game then a Human or Orc team seems like an excellent choice. They're both very versatile and you might actually win some games with them :)

Good luck and have fun
