Hello!
I uploaded an avatar a few hours ago. It was a nice clown. His width was no greater than 80 pixels, his height no greater than 80 pixels, and his (file) size no more than 6 KB.

The problem is that I don't see the avatar. Could someone please help or tell me who should I contact?

Thanks!

Did you click submit?

Seriously though, I have found it sometimes takes a couple go arounds before it sticks

Can you see the image in your profile page?

That will tell you if it took. Look close for any messeges saying your image isn't right. I know you checked it but do it again..things slip sometimes!

I did it again more than once. I get no message. Under the "Current Image" I get an X.

Is it in an acceptable format? Check your file extension and make sure it can be used on the site

I uploaded a .JPG and nothing happened. Then I uploaded a .GIF and had the same result.

I had the same problem when I wanted to upload my avatar after changing it for x-mas time. I then put it up at photobucket.com and used the "link to off-site avatar" option in the profile. Then it worked.
Hope that helped, otherwise ask for more details.

Don't worry about the format too much - just find a picture on the web or animation you like on the web - right click (In properties - copy link) paste in your profile under "Link to off site avatar". You can get just about any in this way.... change your pic every day for the hell of it.

Your Avatar looks like me on Mondays?
