What's the problem?

I'm new here in TBB and I would like from someone that has been around for some time to explain me some things/answer some questions.
1. Do old TBBers have a problem with Newbie TBBers and attack them with no reason and become rude?
2. Do people here have a problem with those that have other opinions than theirs and attack them with no reason and become rude?
3. Do people here have a racial problem with Greeks and attack them with no reason and become rude?
Just newbie questions.

I just had a glance at your previous posts, over reacting a bit aren't you?

Take another look please. I'm not the one that started over reacting. All I did was posting my opinion without trying to insult anyone.

1. Do old TBBers have a problem with Newbie TBBers and attack them with no reason and become rude?
Sadly enough... I see it all too often.
2. Do people here have a problem with those that have other opinions than theirs and attack them with no reason and become rude?
Same as above answer!
3. Do people here have a racial problem with Greeks and attack them with no reason and become rude?
You ever hear the one about the Greek who... just kidding bro. Racial comments made in anger is wrong. Fortunately I haven't seen any around here. I will check out your previous posts to see exactly what you are talking about. Try not to sweat it. I was shot down many times... especially when I start talking fluff.... I know, I know... Fluff ain't rules ... it's engraved on my brain

(comment to Gus..hehe)

Huh. I'm relatively new to TBB, but everyone's been so decent that I looked at 1821's post, calculated the time difference to Greece, and figured this was an April 1 gag.
Maybe I'm just lucky... I've had a couple of sharp exchanges with people, but nothing like in Fark or even over at FUMBBL from time to time. And one of those guys PM'd me with an apology for being a bit short-fused later on!
Ethnic slurs should be reported to mods. There's no excuse for that. Other than that, I chalk a lot of the fast-flying words around here to people being passionate about the game, which is a good thing, right?
Edit: browsing your posts, I can't help but notice that you chose to throw a pretty tasteless and demeaning joke about women in the middle of a thread that started out supporting a TBBer who was having some lady troubles. You should really think twice about that sort of thing before you complain about people raggin' on you, you know?

Sorry if people are giving you a hard time. It's not cool.

'ad hominem' mate or otherwise known as 'look at the post count before deciding on your response'. But this is common of every single forum on the net. I think I like it here, after all, at least they all talk about something that I am interested in...

Don't worry, I don't have a problem. Because of the "wierd" behavior of some people, I was just wandering about how things work here in TBB. No hard time given to me.
There were not any racial comments. I just know that some times some people hide racesism behind their behavior.

Captain1821, I owe you an apolagy in advance.....
Man I'm glad I caught my error before I replied, (had I not, man I would have looked like a huge idiot.

)
I thought in your first post you said, "Do people have a problem with making racial comments towards
Geeks I missed the
r !
I was going to ask what race was GEEK? Or ask what country a 'Geek' would be from? (Geekia, or Geekland)
Good thing I preread my reply before hitting the submit button.....
A thousand appoligies for not seeing
Greek when first reading your post. (I just had to write my mental error, cause quite honestly I thought it was kind of funny & hopefully gave you a laugh as well.)
To your point though, I'd never nor would I put up with a racial comment, so I understand your concern.
(Unless it was just fun humour between friends who knew a joke was meant.)
So please accept my appalogy in advance for almost making a complete A$$ off myself.
Rod.

Seems a shame that a number of players just want to use this site as an outlet for there frustrations in life mate.
Really they should take it out on the pitch!!! A good beating of a human or two always works!!
Seriously though - definately not cool to take advantage of creed, colour, race, religeon etc etc to insult someone on a site that is predominently designed for discussing Blood Bowl... Guys that do need to get a life!!

For what it's worth, my opinion on the matter (bearing in mind I don't frequent here as much as I used to):
1. Not in my experience.
2. Depends where you draw the line of attacking and defending your point. One of the biggest problem with net forums in my opinion. Everyone wants their say, and no one likes being told their wrong, and in a world of faceless opinion mongering egos get bruised and infantile slangin matches ensue. That said TBB is amongst the best forums I've ever seen for people being relatively civil.
3. I imagine someone somewhere does, think you might need to expand on that for credibility's sake.
If someone is annoying you, ignore them, takes a lot less effort than engaging in a war of words with them which will likely make you look just as annoying as them.

Thankfully the majority of posters save their vitrol for the BBRC
There are the odd one or two who randomly insult everyone (probably the BBRC members

)

Thats really funny Skaven. It would be hard to have something against Geeks at this website. We're ALL geeks here to an extent......

I read "on the street". So I thought you we should randomly beat up people
