Hey,i just started playing blood bowl, and i was wondering if anybody could help me.This is my team,
2 Slayers
2 runners
2 blitzers
5 longbeards
3 rerolls,
because of my lack of knowledge towards the game i tend to make mistakes, and i am only now mastering the rules.
I'd like info on fan facter and the deathroller if ye wouldn't mind.I only play against human, skaven and dwarves.
thank u,oh and does any one else live in ireland here

Hey man,
A good place to start with if you are trying to learn how to play certain races is:
http://www.midgardbb.com/Tactics/BBTactics.html as there are loads of tips on most of the races.
In the Dwarf section 3 out of the top 4 articles give starting team suggestions so it is a good place to begin. And if you are playing against rats then just hold on to the ball as long as possible making sure you hammer as many of them into the ground as you can. Don't sweat how fast they score, just count casualties

Yeah, theres nothing more satisfying than a rat going "squish"

Whatever the team your playing with just squish the mice anyway...especially the GR!!
Seriously though - good advice above - don't get fancy passing etc. just hold ball - bash a lot and make slow progress towards TD line!!

The only thing i would add to that is learn to love your runners, they are your best ball handlers (along with the blitzers but they have other uses) but also your most fragile players.
Thats not to say they break too easy, you just need to take care of em a bit as you lose too much in speed and handling skills without them.

Taking things out of context is great...

taking things people post out of context, yes!
what Jimmy suggests people should do with their runners, no!
I leave that to others, and you will stay away from my runners...
