Newbie query on taking actions!

Sorry if this is really obvious!

Do all actions by a player have to be taken in one go? By this I mean should I choose to carry out a blitz, do I have to move and make the block in one go, or can I choose to move, and then carry out the actual blocking action after (for example) moving other players?

In a similar way, can I move a player who has the ball, then with other players move / block etc, and then come back to the ball carrier to attempt a pass - or does the ball carrier have to move and then pass in one go?

(Probably made a simple question sound really complicated there!)

Thanks for any help,

Paul

No, you take the entire action for one player and then the next, so you can't for instance declare a blitz with A, move A, move B and C, and then Block with A.

Hope this helps

Paul,

welcome to TBB! :D

A player can take one action and one action only in the turn of is team. If I move a player (this is an action), I cannot move that player again until the next teamturn (that would be after your opponents turn!).

All actions are listed in the LRB, they are: Move, Block, Blitz, Pass, Foul and Hand Off.

Note that catching a ball is not an action. If that player did not move before in your team turn, you can still take an action with that player.

I hope this helps! :D
