am thinking about playing blood bowl again,have only played the old version is the new one much different? whatrace would you recommend?

Welcome Northerner!
I've only ever played 3.0 and 4.0, but apparently there's a huge difference between this and earlier versions of the game. Download the Living Rulebook at
http://www.bloodbowl.com and give it a read.
As far as starting races, the out-of-the-box Human and Orc teams are fine. I'd recommend avoiding Big Guys until you have a feel for the new rules.

cheers think will stick with the human's think it's time for the old team to make a comeback was thinking about choas but dont like the look of them

Try orcs first. They are easier to get back into the game. Chaos is loads of fun, tho - especially if you tend to roll doubles

Orcs are probably the most fun off the hop as they are balanced yet nasty.

welcome northerner, i've been playing bb since 2nd edition and for more than half my life!! (why am i still crap??) i'd tend to go for humans or orcs to get you back into the game, both teams are well balanced. go for humans if you fancy more of a passing game or go for orcs if you'd rather beat the snot out of the opposition!!
