But seriously 2 blitzers, 1 thrower, 1 or 2 catchers. Minimum of 2 rerolls.

I like more than 2 blitzers. And max FF is the way to as far as I'm concerned.

Taking into consideration I don't like to play the st2 av 7 catchers until I have an apoth. I think my next start will be along the lines of

3 blitzers 2 throwers 6 linemen 4 re-rolls and 9 fans.

Using the linement to throw to the blitzers in early games to start skilling them up.

1st purchase the apothecary and then either a catcher or 4th blitzer depending on how the winnings fall out.

My most recent start was nearly the same. I got 3 re-rolls instead of 4, and bought 4 blitzers 5 linemen 2 throwers plus 10 for 20% of the apoth next match.

I agree with mad jackel about the blitzers. I always start with catchers though. They will prolly score your first td's, and with two of them they will have Blodge. That will keep em alive despite the ST 2.

My favourite starting lineup is:

4 Blitzers 360 k
1 Thrower 70 k
2 Catchers 140 k
4 linos 200 k
3 Rerolls 150 k
8 FF 80 k

If you want you can add an Ogre at the expense of a blitzer and some FF.
