Stunties, viable or not?

Having just got my sticky mits on a bunch of our short-arsed brethren, I'm in a quandry. Should I get stuck into my club's BB league, or will I just be running in a manner akin to a pie-eater after the last bus home?
I've got the 3rd edition minis, both Slayers, a couple of "Runners", both "Blitzers" and 6 "Blockers"
Alternately, should I just bung 'em back on Fleabay?

Dwarves are a brilliant team, but they are not traditionally easy to use. They can be quite unforgiving on your mistakes, and suffer heavily if an opponent gets lucky on AV rolls. However, in the hands of a good coach, they are very, very hard to beat. For example, my MBBL2 team Weirdy Beardies are currently 24 games unbeaten (hopefully Sean isn't reading this! ).

Hell man, give them a try. They might suit your style of play.

With any team, it all depends on your style of play and what you are trying to achieve. Dwarves tend to be slow and bashy. Not too much passing, fairly low scores.

If that's what you like, great. If not, try something else. Borrow other people's minis (or use beer caps) and try different teams to see how you like it.

Humans tend to be a good team to use to try different things and see what you like. They can be fairly bashy, and they can have a good passing game as well.

As Chairface suggests, give them a go and see. They are a good team.

They are a good ground and pound team but like everyone has been saying don't expect high scoring games.
