but the rules got me confused.

I'm putting together my dwarven team for the first time in years. and I wonder if I could field 2 trollslayers and grim ironjaw at the same time. Or does Grim counts as one of my (maximum) 2 troll slayers?

Depends on the ruleset your using, it has gone both ways.

Generally, star players will only play for 1 game..so you have to pay for them every game.

That said, the stars do not take a position on the roster, so yes, you could have 2 Troll Slayers and Grim for a game
