NooB from Aus

Post by psshhhht »

G'day Mate(s),
Just wanted to say hi! I was given the 3rd edition boxed set, minus human team, by a mate years ago, and only now have decided to actually give it a real go (if I can convince a couple of my mates to do likewise).
I love my orcs, and will have a team of them (as I already have some models), however I'm also going to make a human team, I've got an old box of catachan imperial guard models that I'm thinking about converting, however we'll see.. not in a big rush.. still don't have lots of money.
Anyway, I won't ramble on any longer, I need to get back to work, my lunch break is over! HEHE
Cheers
Jer

Welcome to the forum! I've made teams completely out of my bitsbox, so it dosn't have to be an expensive hobby.

Thanks Mate, yep I already downloaded that, and a bunch of the other stuff from the website. :) Looking forward to getting into it aye! :)

Are the any/many Aussie Blood Bowl players on this site? And more importantly any from Latrobe Valley/Gippsland/Victoria? LOL

I was looking at the Cadian shock troop box set, and I was thinking.. hmmm with a combination of those and a my catachan bits box.. I could make a fairly cool looking BB team pretty easily!

I'll keep ya posted. I love the human team for the variety, like I can do just about anything with them... I'm not forced into a running game, or a throwing game, or a beat the crap out of the oponent game lol.. I can do what I want really.. sweet!

Indeed it's expensive for a regiment box, but there's a shop in the city that sell 2nd hand stuffs sometime. Perhaps that might save some cost.. :D
